Internet Protocol version 6 was developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) to deal with the long-anticipated problem of IPv4 address exhaustion. At present, ISPs and telecommunication companies are switching to the new Internet protocol, and their customers are accessing the Internet using IPv6. This three day workshop will teach the essentials of the new IPv6 protocol, as well providing practical advice on moving forward with your own IPv6 implementation. The training emphasizes how to bring existing services such as DNS, Web, E-Mail, and NTP, into the IPv6 world.
