Intro & Advanced DNS and BIND Topics [Hands-On]
One of the reasons BIND is so popular is its rigid adherence to the latest relevant RFCs, including DNSSEC, Dynamic DNS Updates, Transaction Signatures (TSIG), and Domain Look-aside Validation (DLV). This course includes a 2 day introduction to DNS, then spends 3 days on BIND’s advanced features. This is a classroom-style course that combines lectures with hands-on labs.
IT Managers, Mid-Level Professionals, System Administrators, Network Administrators, CTOs
- Professionals are expected to be familiar with the UNIX environment (file structure, basic utilities) and with text editing in UNIX (vi or nano editor).
- A basic knowledge of TCP/IP addressing is also helpful but not required.
