DDoS Mitigation Training
The DNS Company (DNSco), a division of the Internet Systems Consortium (ISC), is pleased to announce a one-day training session that will prepare attendees for Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.
A DDoS attack works by creating thousands of fake queries that appear to be from the victim’s server, which then receives an overwhelming amount of information. “Without a clear mitigation plan, a DDoS attack can quickly cripple an organization’s online presence,” said Jeff Osborn, Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, “and enterprises across all industries are increasingly vulnerable.”
According to Forrester Research, “DDoS attacks have become a quick and relatively easy way to disrupt your services, and the impact on the business and customer perception is enormous…Losses can be as much as $500k/downtime hour; typical length of a DDoS attack is 2-6 hours.”
The DNS Company understands the gravity of the issue and has created a training program to provide enterprises with a solid action plan in order to mitigate the threat of attack. This intensive, results-oriented, one-day session will provide attendees with a DDoS Mitigation Plan and a set of best practices as they relate to the administration of a DNS environment.
Seats are limited, and early response has been overwhelming. Don’t let another day pass without a DDoS Mitigation Plan.
